City of La Vista, Nebraska The City of La Vista, Nebraska is accepting applications for the position of full-time Street Superintendent in the Public Works Department. The position plans, manages, coordinates and directs the maintenance, repair and construction of street projects, traffic control, street cleaning, right-of-way maintenance and snow removal operations. It also provides technical staff assistance to the Director, Deputy Director and City Engineer. Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred, in Construction Management, Construction, Civil Engineering, Public Administration or related field. Five (5) years of public works or related construction experience and two (2) years supervisory experience required. The City may accept any equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to acquire a State of Nebraska Street Superintendent License and State of Nebraska Responsible Charge Certification.
